with "tür auf" the open collective behind Aiko Okamotos project 'bubu nation' literally opened their doors to their private spaces, inviting people to see what makes them the artists they are.
Aiko Okamoto: "bubu nation hat von Anfang an auf die Spontaneität und Authentizität des Schaffens, gar des Lebens Wert gelegt und die Retrospektive beweist, dass kostbare Erinnerung der kleinen Welt, die wir lieben, innewohnt. Das sind einfache aber unvergessliche Momentaufnamen des vergänglichen Alltags, des ewigen Traums in Form von Zeichnungen, Collagen, Photographie, Video oder auch etwas Undefinierbares."
